Expansions

Part of having furniture that can stay with you and last for years is having furniture that can grow and change with you too. You can become a part of the Sabai Community with your first furniture purchase, a loveseat for your apartment, and turn that into a corner sectional for your growing family years down the road. You can then split that corner sectional into two smaller pieces and send one with your kiddo as a piece from home in their first dorm. Sabai is designed to last and flow with the tides of life. 

We have 5 Expansion kits available for our Essential Collection. We do not currently have expansions for our Elevate and Evergreen collections, however, feel free to contact us with "suggestion" as the subject if this is something you'd like to see in the future! 

Two of our Essential Collection expansion kits are for creating your sofa or loveseat into a sectional or loveseat sectional. We attach our ottoman base to the frame of a sofa or loveseat and place a chaise cushion on top to create a lounge on either side. This is also reversible and can be changed at any time.

Our Corner Sectional Expansion Kits allow you to create either a 5-seat, 6-seat or 7-seat corner sectional, from your pre-existing sofa or loveseat. Your loveseat can be turned into a 5 or 6-seat, and your sofa a 6 or 7-seat. Our 6-seat corner sectionals can also be assembled to have the longer side on either side and changed at a later along with your space. 

It is important to note that only Essential Collection orders #4158 (our new, wrench-based assembly) and after are compatible with our corner sectional expansion kits. If you have an older order (toolless assembly or #4157 or before) please reach out to our support team to learn about options. 

*Note: Our expansion kits are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. These are designed specifically for Sabai Design Essential Collection furniture and will not fit pieces from other brands or our other collections.
