The fill for our dog beds is a natural fiber called Kapok and we enclose this in an organic, waterproof cotton liner. With any natural fiber, Kopak should not go through the wash as it can be prone to mold if wet.

For any accidents, we recommend spot-cleaning the waterproof liner with any gentle (non-solvent-based) household cleaner to clean the filling, and following specific care instructions for your fabric cover which can be found here.
