The frame for our Bacana chair is FSC-certified maple wood stained in a warm, water-based finished. To clean the frame properly, we recommend using clean, warm water and a damp cloth. *Do not use abrasive or harsh chemicals such as ammonia, vinegar, powdered all-purpose cleaners, Endust, Pledge, Murphy’s Oil Soap, any type of wax, or silicone-based products. Do not steam clean. Do not allow water to stand on the frame for extended periods. 

The fabric cover is removable! Some of the padding is in the cover and may be hand-washed. We recommend treating the cover similar to a duvet, please hand-wash on cold and lay flat to dry. The fiber may need to be fluffed after the drying process. Additionally, it is important to follow specific care instructions for your fabric cover which can be found here.
